Last Wednesday marked an exciting celebration for some of the Cold Banana team, as they made their way to the centre of London to attend the prestigious UK Dev Awards. The team eagerly awaited the results of their nominations across three distinct categories.
The first award Cold Banana was shortlisted for was ‘Project of the Year’ for our work on the petrehomer.org website. The second accolade was ‘Dev Agency of the Year’ in the small agency classification. Lastly, the spotlight was on our Managing Director Ollie, who was shortlisted for Rising star for his commendable transition into this leadership role.
After the two hour drive up to London, the team were greeted with a welcome drink and shown to their table. The evening unfolded in a delightful sequence of delicious food, refreshing drinks and the buzzing excitement of the award announcements. Conversations with fellow attendees flowed in the vibrant atmosphere.
While Cold Banana didn’t win an award this time around, being shortlisted for not just one or two, but three awards is in itself an achievement worth celebrating - and we couldn't be prouder of the team’s collective accomplishments in the last year. Sharing the stage with some outstanding agencies and businesses was an honour and we would like to send our congratulations to all of the deserving winners. We look forward to the rest of this year, and all the opportunities and challenges it may present. The recognition and experience gained at the 2024 UK Dev Awards has fuelled our determination to push boundaries and excel in this dynamic industry of development and innovation. We look forward to seeing what 2025 can bring!
